Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 launched at an introductory price of Rs 2.99 lakh!

 

  This is the updated Ultraviolet F 77 Mach 2. This is essentially an updated version of the f77 electric motorcycle that was launched last year.The headline figures here are it’s got more features, more range, and the async price is now much lower. There are still two battery capacities on offer.The base Mach 2 gets a 7.1 kilowatt hours back, while the Mach 2 Recon gets a 10.3 kilowatt hours unit. While the capacities are the same as before Ultraviolet has managed to make out a little more range from both the battery packs 211 km for the base Mach 2 and 323 km claimed IDC feathers for the Mach 2 Recon. The motor on the Mach 2 Recon is now rated for 40.5 staggering 100 torque. Ultraviolet says that the Mach 2 has a claimed top speed of 155 kph and it can accelerate from zero to 107.7 seconds.
  The f77 chassis and weight figures are exactly the same as they were before. What has changed, however, is the addition of an entire suite of electronic riding aids, three levels of traction control, ABS that is dual channel and can be turned off at the rear, and a staggering ten levels of regenerative braking. There is also something known as dynamic stability control.This intertwines the ABS and the regenerative braking systems to work together in braking systems to work together in tandem to keep the riders safe.
You can now connect your phone to the f77 display via ultra wireless proprietary app.This will help you receive navigation information on the display, although call and notification alerts aren’t enabled yet. You can also alter the parameters of the electronic riding aids via Ultraviolet’s app. The electronic aids that is mentioned above are part of something known as a performance pack. It will be bundled into the asking price for the first 1000 bookings but will be sold at a cost later on. For those who want to take their f77 on longer journeys, Ultraviolet will sell you a pair of accessory panniers and you can store the boost charger inside. Pricing is rs27,560, which is excluding GST.
  Speaking of price, the Mach 2 is priced at rs 2.99 lakh and the Mach 2 Recon is priced at rs 3.99 lakh. That marks a drop of rs80,000 for the base Mach 2 and a drop of about rs56,000 for the Mach 2 Recon. Bookings begin today on Ultraviolet’s website and we are told deliveries will begin next month at its new reduced price.
